Dr Cees Ferwerda
Cees is the clinical lead at Kaizen Clinics (Oakleigh South). Cees has over 15 years of experience working as a doctor and he is renowned for his approachable manner.
Cees is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
Cees is married and has three energetic boys. He likes to spend time with his family and friends. He has to do a fair bit of running around with his boys to various sports and competitions and in between manages to look after his veggie garden, doing some fishing and cooking.
He enjoys all aspects of General Practice but he has a particular interest in:
- Skin cancer diagnostics and regular skin checks
- Mental health including assistance with depression and anxiety
- Family planning and contraception (including Implanon insertion and removal)
- Small surgical procedures such as steroid injections into joints, skin procedures, ingrown toenail removal, cyst removal and wound care;
- Preventative medicine including medication review, immunisations, smoking cessation and regular health checks
- Chronic disease management such as diabetes, asthma and cardiovascular issues
- Ear nose throat problems, including sleep issues such as snoring/ sleep apnoea and lodged foreign bodies
Dr. Vishal Sharma

Vishal is the Director at Kaizen Clinics. He had the privilege of working with leading medical specialists during his medical training in the United Kingdom.
He takes the concerns of his patients very seriously and thoroughly relishes the challenge of complex medical problems. He firmly believes in evidence-based medicine. He enjoys all aspects of General Practice especially chronic disease management and men’s health. Vishal enjoys travelling, cricket, soccer, cycling and most of all he thoroughly enjoys the superb coffee Melbourne has to offer.
Dr Anita Nesarajah
MD (MBBS) FRACGP
Dr Anita Nesarajah is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General practice. She migrated from Malaysia 8 years ago with her husband.
She is trained in Implanon insertion and removal, Prep prescribing. She is currently training to be an IUD (intrauterine device) insertor with FPV. Another of her interest is mental health and she is a trained focussed psychological strategies skills provider.
Her other interests are preventative care and women’s health. She enjoys general practice because she enjoys the diversity of patients encountered and the various medical conditions. She is empathetic, non-judgemental and compassionate. She believes in working collaboratively with patients to achieve a good outcome in regard to their health and wellbeing.
With many years of experience in delivering the best quality patient care as a practice nurse, Tong works well with every patient. She is passional and friendly, empathic, and highly skilled in primary health care.
When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and trying out great food.
Anna is our new Practice Manager at Kaizen Clinics Oakleigh South. She has over 5 years of experience in medical administration and management.
She has a great interest in caring for individuals’ needs. She works closely with doctors, nurses, health professionals, and staff to provide the best care for the clinic.
Anna enjoys being part of a medical centre that is highly regarded within the local community.

I have over nine years of experience working as a medical receptionist for General Practioner and Specialist Clinics. As a receptionist, it is my aim to always create a friendly and welcoming ambience for those who visit the clinic.
In my spare time I love to go for walks, listen to music and spend time with my children.
Strat comes to us with over 30 years experience as medical receptionist for general practice and allied health. She looks forward to welcoming all patents with a friendly smile and assistance. In her spare time Strat enjoys doing pilates and spending time with her family and friends.
